Wilson Novitzki was born and raised in the uniquely musical city of Memphis, Tennessee, where he spent his teenage years hearing music and playing his first gigs on world-famous Beale Street. After studying music in Texas, he settled in New York City in 2006. There he led his own group, The Goddamn Team Players, and also became involved in the Free Jazz scene. From 2011 to 2014 he toured internationally as guitarist and keyboardist for underground legend R. Stevie Moore. During these travels he developed close friendships and later a romantic relationship in Hannover, Germany, where he now lives with his partner and their young son. There, he currently performs as a member of the Tonhallen Orchester and as the leader of his own Mirror Trio.
